Welcome to this web-site!

Asalaamuelakum. Finally after many years of thought, I have been able to put this small project together. Let me introduce myself to you all. My name is Dr. Amir Butt and I graduated from QAMC in 2000. I am presently located here in NJ, USA, but I still clearly remember QAMC and Bahawalpur. After waiting for almost two years for someone to come up with a web-site joining the students and the alumni from around the world, I have launched my own. I hope that students and members of the alumni do write back, hopefully in encouragement, on how to improve this minor effort.

This web-site is actually a token of my appreciation for the time I spent at this wonderful Medical College. Students of this college are also known as QUAIDIANS and I miss a great many of you!

About Quaid-e-Azam Medical College

The college is located in Bahawalpur, a relatively small town in the province of Punjab in Pakistan. The college is attached with the Bahwal Victoria Hospital. The college was established in 1970. The college is affiliated with Islamia University.

This college is like a small city. Located far away from the big cities, the only entertainment available is amongst the students themselves. Everyone knows everyone! When you see a new face, you know he or she is the new student in the college. I did make a lot of friends and some of them I am still in contact with, however, this site is for every Quaidian out there. I am not going to mention about the teachers, because they have their own web-site. This one is for us, the students and graduates. Feel free to email me about any updates or things you find necessary for me to correct. I will try my level best to address them as soon as possible.
